Langkawi Trip

Langkawi Island

Wee.....This Langkawi trip was super duper fun. With only the 4 of us, we rented a car to travel around. Taking turns driving, with the scale-less map, we lost our way a few times, but we managed to find our way back. Anyway, this was my first flight, but suprisingly I was not as nervous as I thought I would be...hm.....Last time I used to think, my first flight must not be air asia rm9.90.... I want to go far far....but now....aiyo end up taking air asia also la....don't care la....as long as can go vacation... :)
So, in the airport, since its my first flight, zhi hui keep saying, must take more pictures.. Seriously, I think she's much more excited than me. Haha...I played around with the trolley, and we took some random pictures since we have about an hour before the flight.

so funny, before the take off, Zhi Hui and Yui Teng tried to scared me, saying "Melissa, grap tight ah, take off that time like roller coaster one ah....very fast and scary one....landing that time even scarier..like riding solero spaceshot..." they knew I dare not go for the solero spaceshot...lol our first stop, field of burnt rice..

next, the loo in oriental village...lol...30 cent per entry leh...don't play play...

waterfall before the seven wells...cooling water but steaming rocks
seven wells.......the slides were.very fun.......we went for the slides again and again...lol,
definitely worth the long climb up the stairs.....refreshing coconut after the long walk down...

at night, we had drinking session..

..poor ee yun drinking "cough syrup" blackcurrant kampai,

while I drank some japanese beer....eeeee...super bitter......bluek....
where was Yui Teng ah??? right....bathing...

DAY 2
Off we went for island hopping...
Yui Teng's nice sunglasses....too bad it fell into the sea....spot the pregnant maiden island.....saw?? a pregnant lady lying flat...

our first stop...

smart zhi hui brought along the life jacket from the boat...
while I was trying to grap the side...
Oh right., the monkeys there were very scary....as long as they see a plastic bag, they'll snatch it from you, thinking that there's food inside...they like to bully small kid like zhi hui...lol....hence, her goggles fell into their hands...
Next stop, eagle feeding...
Last stop, Pantai Beras Basah....the nicest beach in langkawi....

then in the afternoon, we went makam mahsuri...and the makam purba...lol..sorry..inside joke...
in the evening, sunset by the beach near telaga harbour....nice...

Right, at night, from our room balcony, we can climb out to the roof...and from there...we get to see so so so so so so many stars....first time seeing so many stars.....it was a really nice view...wouldn't have this kind of view in PJ.....Walking along the pier feeling the cool breeze from the sea was great too...Awana was not bad after all, maybe its a good thing that Berjaya was fully booked......
Day 3 mangrove tour....our private boat..

next, bat cave...another monkey trying to unzipped my bag..how smart are they.....

spot the monitor lizard climbing up the tree!!! when my friends shouted "lizard!!!"...for a second I thought it was on my head..until I saw it on the tree.....phew...In the bat cave...we simply climbed here and there...

Last stop for the tour...the fish farm....very tame stingray
its oyster...but looks more like a rock....

spot the blur blur island??? that's Thailand!!! we went back through open sea...zhi hui even received message from Digi Thailand...lol..."Digi Thailand welcomes you to Thailand..." while Ee yun's " your friends and families misses you back home, send a message from Thailand....." lol...

part of the kampai and hooch they drank.....bout 3 or 4 more bottles missing?? wa...drank so much..

Thus....this ends our langkawi trip...

Of course, last but not least.....I want to thank God for this wonderful and safe trip...Thank God for the protection throughout the trip, Thank God for sorting everything out, Thank God for the good weather, Thank God for guiding the way, Thank God for the 3 wonderful buddies, Thank God for a friend who helped out throughout the trip, thank God for blessing all the mamak food, Thank God for the nice car, thank God for the nice hotel, Thank God for the safe flight, Thank God for everything!!!!
