Giving thanks for all the prayers answered throughout the year...
Someone once told me, God had only 3 answers for your prayer, its either Yes, No or wait.
It just felt weird, how impossible it used to seem... Sometimes, I sat there thinking, still unable to fully digest the fact that I'm finally doing it right now....
many of my friends often ask, why are you so serious bout it... don't have to be so hardworking la... mm...if they only knew....
Who says God never listen? who says God never understand?
He planned the days of your life in advance, choosing the exact time of your birth and death. The bible says, "You saw me before I was born and scheduled each day of my life before I began to breathe. Every day was recorded in your Book!"
While cleaning up, I found a book entitled, The Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren. It was a gift from my friend's parents to my parents during christmas 3 years back. Now, I just felt like its time for me to read it. I wonder why....
Its stated in the beginning,
"this book is dedicated to you. Before you were born, God planned this moment in your life. It is no accident that you are holding this book. God longs for you to discover the life he created you to live---here on earth, and forever in eternity."
2009, had been a great year. Through little incidents to horrible dramatic scenarios, all have pull me closer to the Lord.
Blessed to have this family
Blessed to have these brothers and sisters in christ
Blessed to have this awakening,
and Lastly, blessed to have came to know about this wonderful savior.
Happy new year everyone!!

Merry Christmas!!!
A long long time ago....there once live a dog named.........Pokey...She is a very small dog with short legs, and unlike other dogs, her ears flips open and the pointed ends of both ears meet, just like a big ribbon. imagine....dog...ribbon..yea~~~
She grew up in the jungle and the trees were her friends. She likes to jump and run and race with her friends. Every time she sprints across the jungle, she felt like she's flying.....ahh...feel it..feel it...
One day, as Pokey was racing with her friends, she heard a loud sound. Then, she heard her friends screaming....EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
She sprint as fast as possible to where the voice was and saw that a big big monster was killing all her friends. She was furious but she could do nothing. She tried to bite the monster with her small little teeth but it was really solid hard...she bite bite bite....She lost 5 tooth. She tried scratching the monster's feet with her thin little nails but not even a tiny little scratch was formed.Sigh, at the end of the day, all her friends were gone, leaving only a piece of green leaf... so..she decided to leave this sad sad place.
She packed her 5 tooth and that one leaf and she headed towards North. She had no sense of direction, yeap, so much for being a dog.. but she just continue walking...and walking and walking...holding on to her faith that she's heading North.
After God knows how many days and how many nights, her legs had lotsa weird bubbles around it. She lick it as she goes yeeap yeapp and she continue walking and walking. Finally she arrived at a place where she saw lotsa shiny shimmering lights. She walk towards the big big big big big big pokey thing that looks so much like her ears. She took out her 5 tooth and placed on the piece of leaf she packed right in front of the big big pokey thing. Then she heard a magical music...so she sang along with it...
All I want for christmas is my two front teeth, my two front teeth, my two front teeth,
All I want for christmas is my two front teeth, then I can wish you merry christmas!!
then she goes yeeap yeaap yeapp yeaap.....
She was so focus on her singing she didn't realize that her 5 tooth and the piece of leaf were no longer there. Instead, there was a big big big big round m&m the hand thingy thing infront of her. But inside, it was not chocolates, because mummy says dog can't eat chocolate. Inside was some brown seedlike things that she somehow felt familiar..She didn't care...she decided that she miss that old place too much to stay here. So she dragged the m&m thingy's hand and headed South.
On the way home she spilled all the brown seedlike things along the way because she was dragging mr m&m upside down... How would she know that its upside down since round shape has no ends?? She was tired and sad so she sat down and weep....she goes yeap yeap yeaaap again....den her tears flow along the brown seedlike things.....then it rain and rain...She was sad but she didn't lose hope. She has this faith in her that someday, her friends will be back. Day and night, she sat there singing to the seeds, ol friends , ol friends.... The next thing she knew, all her friends were back!! She was thrill and she just jump around with her pointy ears going toink toink toink....then she said to her friends...I was so afraid that you guys wouldn't be back in time for christmas!! This is the best gift ever..Merry christmas!!! then she realized...hey....she can pronounce merry christmas without causing a tornado!! then she goes yeaap yeapp yeeaap....and kept saying Merry Christmas for the rest of the day... THE END...
Merry christmas Merry christmas merry christmas!!!!!

HA
I am a boring person after all. HA
Its just a thought passing by, and something I could not deny.
From what I observed till this day. Being perfect isn't all good, instead being ignorant is somehow the right thing to do. Trying too hard is always the pathetic way of living. Immune immune immune yourself, it will go away.
ABCDEFG, now I just can't seem to think properly.
All that once seems interesting, is now in doubt if its all worth it. Easily influenced? Always undecided? Let's just say that we're all just human.
If you remember "if only", then there's something I would like to tell.
If all have passed and now over, then we can only say that its done.
But till then, I'm still giving it a chance.

Word of God
41LORD, show me your love,
and save me as you have promised.
42I have an answer for people who insult me,
because I trust what you say.
49 Remember your promise to me,your servant;
it gives me hope.
50When I suffer, this comforts me:
Your promise gives me life.
51Proud people always make fun of me,
but I do not reject your teachings.
52I remember your laws from long ago,
and they comfort me, LORD.
53I become angry with wicked people
who do not keep your teachings.
54I sing about your demands wherever I live.
55LORD, I remember you at night,
and I will obey your teachings.
56This is what I do:
I follow your orders.
and save me as you have promised.
42I have an answer for people who insult me,
because I trust what you say.
49 Remember your promise to me,your servant;
it gives me hope.
50When I suffer, this comforts me:
Your promise gives me life.
51Proud people always make fun of me,

and I will obey your teachings.
56This is what I do:
I follow your orders.
psalm 119
But the LORD does what is right; he has set me free from those wicked people.
psalm 129:4
For this, I will forgive them; just like You have forgiven us.

Wall light ^^
Finally, after 3 long weeks, where 1 week of researching on the tribe, 2 weeks of searching for materials and constructing, 3 nights of not sleeping...(not continuosly la), my wall light is done!!! wanna see wanna see???

nice a not? nice a not?? From the photo not really clear though. Don't have the feel. Anyway, we were asked to design a wall light after researching on a tribe we choose. I chose the Kikuyu tribe from South Africa, Kenya. Can you translate what kind of tribe the Kikuyu is from the wall light?
If you looked carefully, the leaves, leaning against each other, actually gives the feeling of supporting. They crowd together (showing unity) to protect the one light.
There are actually 9 pieces of leaves you see. Its actually related to the Kikuyu legend. The Kikuyu tribe believed that, the God of creator, which is known as Ngai, placed a man named Kikuyu on the Holy mountain, where he met a woman. They had 9 daughters...that's why there are nine leaves to protect that nine daughters. Kikuyu prayed hard for 9 good husbands for his daughters. That's why there's nice pieces of rolled up darker green leaves below, supporting the sculpture. And also, the Kikuyu tribe's shield, are similar to the shape of a leaf. Originally, I didn't plan to use leaves. But then, comments and advices and ideas from lecturers and friends...solving problems caused by materials. the final product became like this. At least, its better than what I expect. ^^
Do my explanation make any sense? I hope so. Because, tomorrow is the submission day. >< yikes..
This is my 2nd basic design project and basic design always gives me that satisfaction when everything is done. And seriously, the feeling is realllllllllly goooooood..... its like starting from scratch. ahh~~~ I wonder what's the next project will be.... ^^

Art Night
Yet another successful event! What is Art night you asked? Would be more than happy to share. Art night is a super duper extremely fun night filled with singing, dancing, storming performances. It was held right in my college last Friday night. The Performing Art Club (P.A.C) was the main organizer and performers for it. Thanks to the interior architecture students, the plain ol boring student corner was transformed into a rocking mysterious cave-like corner. Even the lecturer said it looked somewhat Hardrock cafe. lol. U.V dance, Storm (playing percussion like d blue man thingy), choir, solo, silly dance. The night went on and on. It was just awesome. Glad to be one of the PAC members.
P.A.C. HUAT LAH~~~!!!!

We WOn We wON!!!!!
weeeeeeee~~~ back ache, hand ache, leg ache......everywhere aching...BUT we WON!!! okay..let's not jump to the conclusion right away. hehe There were 14 groups who joined the competition and 7 group were from Alfa!! hehe... conquered almost half of the competition. There were supposed to be contestants from PJCAD and KBU, that was what we heard though. However, none of them show up.
The competition was held at the beachfront of the Holiday Villa Resort in Cherating. Began at 8.45am, 14 groups, minimum of 2 person and maximum of 4 person in a group, began constructing their sand castle. After the first hour of building the foundation, the judges began their preliminary judgment on teamwork and costume. And after excruciating 3 hours under the bright hot sun, the competition ended with a blow of whistle. HOT HOT hOT!!!! but fun fun fun!!! With all the tools we brought, building a nice sculpture isn't that difficult. If only we are given more than 3 hours, I bet our sculpting would be more neat and detailed.
Anyway, lunch was then provided and result was revealed. There were prizes for best teamwork among students group, and best teamwork among family group, and of course, the 1st, 2nd and 3rd placing. As I mentioned earlier, my group won!! But we won the best teamwork prize. It was out of expectation though, because we didn't plan to win, but of course we were thrill. Moreover, the prize is quite luxurious. A 3 days 2 nights stay in the Holiday Villa Resort in Langkawi, and 2 big hampers. :) Yeap. All for the 4 of us. Other than us, there's another team from Alfa who won. And they got 1st. The prize includes a 4 days 3 nights stay in Holiday Villa Resort in Langkawi, 2 hampers and RM3000.
oh yaa...by d way, the beach is really nice but super not fun. Cause got lotsa jelly fish....even on the beach bay. A few of my friends got stung by it. There's even snake on the beach....and also , there was this plane, flying sooooo low when it past by our head. It really scared us as we thought it was going to land on us. Thank god no one was standing, I was thinking if a tall guy raised up his hand, he might actually grab the bar and fly with the plane. Seriously dangerous beach.
okok...I'm always so long winded. Lets' see some photos..

I really enjoyed their company. Fun people. We chat till 3 am. With only 2 hours of sleep before the competition. ahh Aint trip always meant to be like this? hehe... moreover, I managed to find a brother in Christ in this gang. We even did bible study during midnight. haha. It was indeed a refreshing session. Glad that there's at least one to share about Christianity in college.

It's time to grab the bagpack and go go go!!!
In another 10 hours or so, the ALFAians shall head to Cherating with their buckets and tools.
We all know that beach wouldn't be beach without its sand and seawater. However, what do the sand and seawater have to do with the ALFAians? Allow me to reveal the answer...
ding ding ding ding....
They're there to join the sand sculpting competition which will be held on the 25th October. Weee~~~ In a group of 4, let's see what will they be able to build out of plain sand and seawater... Stay tuned....^^

should you fit in....or standout?
Greater is He that is in me, than he that is in the world.
Define guilt.
Guilt makes you sleepless at night.
Guilt is that uneasy feeling that rings in you because there is this little bit of conscious in you which thinks that you should not have done it.
Guilt is your consciousness crying out loud for repentance.
If you feel guilty, thank God. For you still know the meaning of repentance.
If you have never felt guilty, seek God. For you do not realize what sin you have committed.
If you felt guilty, praise God. For He has washed away your sins.
Do wrong doings become right if everyone is doing it?
Will majority always win minority? Even if the majority is at wrong?
Is it worth for one to stay righteous if he is the only one left righteous and what seems righteous to him might be the opposite to all the others?
At times like these, what should one do?
WWJD?
the famous saying...What would Jesus do?
He will not fit in, He will stand out.

Stand In The Gap
Stand In the Gap
Verse 1:
The eyes of the Father run to and fro
He's searching the earth
He's looking for those
who make intercession
On behalf of their nation
Those who will rise up and pray
Chorus:
We'll stand in the gap on behalf of our land
We'll stand in the gap on behalf of our land
Down on our knees we'll take our stand
And there intercede for our land
We'll pray for the needs of our land
Verse 2:
The power of darkness released on our land
Will never prevail will never withstand
The deep intercession by a people of passion
Those who will rise up and pray
Inspiring.
There's hope;
Let's start praying.

Be careful of what you wish for....
Often I heard people say, be careful of what you wish for, it might just come true.
Ha..now I'm finally experiencing it.
Last two weeks, I have just posted a post asking for more assignments and more choir practice to keep me busy busy busy. weee~~~~ God heard me, and now...almost everyday is a due date for assignments. At the same time, choir practice is ending later and later...by the time I reach home, I don't even have the strength to bathe, moreover there are assignments to rush.
I shouldn't be complaining, for these are what I wished for....
I AM enjoying the choir practice, I AM enjoying my assignments too...
but now, I'm hoping for a 3rd wish......
can I have 36 hours a day?
Human are greedy...*shake head and sigh*

Its Futsal AGaiN!!!!!! wee~~~
weee~~~~~
So long so long since I played futsal with these juniors. It was so much fun!!
In the beginning, when hamagong msged me bout it, I was so upset because I thought I couldn't make it since I sprained my toes a couple of weeks ago. And the poor toe still hurts whenever I walk. yes...even after all the bandages n stuff. sigh.
Then this morning, I woke up and I felt sooo 不甘心. After planning so so long, then there's finally a game and I can't go???!!! NO00oo~~~~ I've just got to be there and feel the game again!!! So, who cares bout the pain, play also pain, don't play also pain. Hence, I just ignore my toe and played for 2 hours. Super syok. But of course, it'll be much much more fun without this injury. yikes... hopefully my dad is not reading this...hehe
About the game, it was just like old time....so much fun!! This time, instead of playing in megah, we changed to the one in seapark. Sportsbarn. cheaper I guessed. As usual, I was the only female there, since all the others are studying abroad, but it was just as fun!!! baru walk into the court then kena head shot. haha. Glad to know that everyone is still the same fun insane pmo gang. ^^
weee~~~
now my toe hurts.... ouch....

Come what may....Jesus is here for me.
Thank you Jesus.
Though things have not been as expected, yet You showed me that You're always here.
You taught me to live through all kinds of trouble, to adapt and to accept the impossible.
To learn that despite all insanity of this world, Your rainbow will still appear.
To learn that, there is no trouble too big for You to handle.
To learn that, there is no problem too difficult for You to solve.
Now I know, how creative the devil can be, how cunning is he....
All the unexpected way he came up with, just to tempt you to fall into his trap,
yet, God, You're always here, always here to protect.
Give thanks to the Lord for showing me the way,
Give thanks to the Lord for guiding me today,
I'll leave everything into Your hands Lord,
For I know that You'll always be there for me.
Come what may, I'm not afraid. For I have my Father in heaven to protect me.
Stay focus, stay calm. Not to be influenced by the things of this world, but to live in God's way, according to His plan for me.

My Secret Recipe
I never expected this to be soooo much fun~~~~
hehehee....I can't stop smiling when I'm doing this...A bit insane...yikes~~
Mixing the ingredients, stir and stir....add in more water as you put in more paper...
Papers filled with "incidents".....Burning them will cause air pollution. Big no nO..... So, I chose water instead of fire..^^
this is so much fun~~*evil grin*~ wee~~~
in goes the grapes, in goes the rambutan, in goes the leaves and everything else~~~
hush hush..~~~shh~~~
Go with the wind....though funny and memorable..things that have to go, shouldn't remain...
hey...wait~~ maybe I can make a book out of these soaking wet papers....a whole new book made of recycled papers that were once filled with words....^^ not a bad idea....okie...big project big project!!!
I shall get back to stirring my pot of "secret" recipe...ciao...
wee~~~~~~

Really nice...its about how the president plane was being hijacked, and how he bravely saved everyone....Seriously nice...The president in the movie was truly The Man... ^^ gaya sia~~

teehee =^_^=
wee~~ As I mentioned earlier, today for art of speaking, we're supposed to sing solo...
And so, I was the first one to sing.. Not exactly actually, since Ms. Azlina demonstrated before me..anyway, I was really nervous when I went up front but I just thought, argh...wth, just hentam la..so...I sang with a shaky voice as my cheek vibrated vigorously due to the nervousness in me...gah gah...don't know what to say bout that, but just..I did it!! I sang infront of everybody.....and it wasn't really that bad...Due to limited time, not everyone went up front to sing, but I'm glad I did. At least now, I have conquered my fear.....not that I sang melodiously, but..I sang!!!! wee~~~
Then later, we were paired up and given 5 mins to prepare a speech on Recycling. Each group was given a different age group, my group chose the kids....audiences at the age of five...
So, I spoke silly words, acted silly things and not to forget, got my partner Bear into doing it too.....While the full mark is 8, the lecturer actually gave us 8+++..... double wee~~~~
Maybe because this task is to talk to kids...Talking to kids is still alright for me....... If I have to speak formally to adults or teenagers....garh.....freaky...
Anyway, I'm very much enjoying learning new stuff and I'm even more motivated now... I'm eager to overcome any challenges that are set out there for me....^^ Bring it on!!
Author's note: I thought staying positive is as easy for everyone as it is for me..... but only now that I realized, it isn't that easy for many others... Hopefully they'll be able to set their priorities right and think positively...smile people!! Its a beautiful world out there....^^
"Things never really are perfect," she said. "But inside you, you, you can always see them perfect, if you try. That makes things beautiful to me."

For the sake of posting
Since this new semester started, I have been addicted to blogging. Not that I have that many exciting happenings to blog about, its just that, every single day when I reaches home, I felt so exhausted hence I just go to bed at like what time?? 5pm?? 6pm??? Then in the end of the day, I skipped dinner and woke up in the middle of the night to stare at the ceiling....-_- And so, what to do in the middle of the night when no one is awake to chat with you? its either assignments or go blogging...Hence, this blog has been growing rapidly for the past few weeks....
As for the many bonus holidays that coincidentally all falls on Monday,
I just spent my day doing nothing meaningful like being a couch potato in front of the television, busy clicking on the remote control aimlessly, or just walk into the kitchen, open the fridge, realizing that I had been doing this for the God knows how many times.........and this goes on and on till the sun finally sets. And finally, as if the darkness outside will alert the alarm to awaken my conciousness , it struck me that my assignments are not even half done and the due date is in less than 12 hours. Hence, there goes all the rushing and burning the midnight oil.....
How should I put this? Let's just say, inspiration and motivation seldom come knocking on your door till the very last minute.... 20 sketches? Somehow, the flow just doesn't come when you have days and days to complete it. But when you have THE feeling, it can be done in just 5 hours time. This is just how things work....for me that is.
I don't even know what is this post about since I'm just posting for the sake of posting. Seriously, I'm typing anything my exhausted brain can think of, so don't be surprise if nothing is making sense in this post. There's just this weird satisfaction in typing things out after going through an entire day of brain drainage..I don't even know if this 'brain drainage' term exist...
I think I better stop crapping since its getting dark outside again..alerting me that I have a model to build in 13 hours time and all I have now is a big flat model board. wee~~
By the way, we're asked to sing solo for art of speaking class tomorrow and I have totally no idea on what to sing. I seriously can't imagine myself singing in front of a crowd...ALONE!!
alright...now I feel like puking.....ciao.

Do without thinking,
Do without explaining,
Do without expecting,
Do without worrying,

Do without complaining,
Do without sighing,

Do without reserving.

Be eager to learn on how to start doing,
Be excited that you're actually doing,
Be patient while trying to keep doing,
Be motivated while redoing,
Be determined while you're about to fail in continue doing,
Be grateful for being able to be doing,
Be generous in every of your doings,
Be kind when you're helping others in their doings,
and lastly,
Be blessed for given a chance to be doing.

Platonic Friendship
Is it really that difficult for people to believe that platonic friendship truly exist?
Why when often a guy is very close to a girl, people tend to start rumour on maybe he's interested in her or she's interested in him?
Isn't there this possibility where maybe both of them really treat each other as friend purely and nothing more than that?
Undeniable that the line between is a thin line, but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist. I myself have a few platonic guy friends and I don't find it troubling me, that is excluding all the rumours and stuff. Push away all the rumours, we're just as normal as I am with my girl-friends, as he is to his guys friends.
Despite how difficult is it to see the line, I still would say that people who often think that pure friendship between a male and a female doesn't exist as shallow thoughts.
To debate, you may say, there were lots of cases where best friends actually became lovers and soul mate in the end of everything. So? This still doesn't mean that platonic friendship doesn't exist!!!!
Sometimes, its really annoying to have people talking behind your back when all you did was just being close to a guy friend, just like how you are close to your girl-friend. For goodness sake, we're just friends!!!
Put aside the gender, we're all humans.... Even the bible tells us to love our neighbour like how we love our sisters and brothers. So, showing care doesn't always have to have a purpose behind. There are people out there who actually care because they had once experienced it and hope that others would know the way to live through it. Is that a wrong thing to do?
Above are plainly my opinion, I'm sorry if I've offended anyone who disagree with this, but I've clearly state my stand. For me, platonic friendship between a male and a female EXIST.

Expect nothing in return
Very often when things don't happen as expected, people tend to get upset over it. Seldom will they be thankful of what they had gone through throughout the entire process...
In fact, most of the time, the thing that really matter isn't the result of a certain incident, but the entire journey that had led that person to that particular result. The treasures are actually the lessons learned and the knowledge gained from the journey.
So, say I was expecting and hoping for something to happen...
Of course, when it really happens, I'll be thrill..
But if it doesn't happen as expected...I'm so gonna be upset about it. bummer
But if, say..I don't allow myself to expect a certain incident to happen right from the very beginning,
then, when it really happens, I'll still be thrill...in fact, I'll be even more glad because I wasn't even expecting it...Sort of an extra bonus.
And if it doesn't happen, I wouldn't have any lost because I wasn't expecting it to happen..Hence I will not be upset..The result of it not happening wouldn't surprise me..
So.....with all calculation done in this kiasu society...
Its obvious on which route to take....Expecting isn't always good..
In conclusion,
I shall always enjoy the process without expecting anything in return. ^^
author's note: sorry for the confusing post. Its just that, I got to "walk" the crap in my head once in a while...Don't worry, this happens only once in a blue moon.
