a bigger heart than this

comparison.
why do people like to compare?

we all know that God has created each and everyone of us to be different.
we may have the same hair colour but we may not have the same eyes,
we may have the same skin colour but we may not have the same personality.

many people often ask me, why when your sister have long hair, you will have short?
i do not deny that i did it on purpose. and all, just to give the hint to others to stop comparing.

we all have different ways of doing things. and no one should expect two to be the same.
i just don't understand why should it be any different when it comes to this.

just because one doesn't show doesn't mean one doesn't care.

dear lord, please help me to forgive.

your uncle's sister's cousin's daughter's friend's mother's cousin is not your friend

i was checking my really old yahoo mail account which i no longer use anymore and one of the old mails caught my attention.

few years back, i took a job from an uncle's friend on translating an entire webpage into mandarin. i remember not sleeping for a few nights just to complete the assignment and even bought a dictionary especially for it.

and after feeling the accomplishment of actually completing the task, for the next few weeks i was quite excited in waiting for the reply. having only to keep in touch thru emails, i can do nothing but wait patiently. i waited, waited and waited, that lady did replied a mail which says she have to wait for the entire project to be accomplished before getting me my pay, and guess what, if she did not lie bout that, i guess the project is still ongoing till this day. because, since then, no news from her and i have still yet to receive my pay. hmm. grr.

tho i did actually gain some experience thru this assignment, and learn the lesson on the risk of doing "business" online, i am somehow tempted to click on that lady's email address and send an email to her to demand my pay that i was supposed to get.

if i really did, the mail will somehow translate this, hi, u still owe me $$$.

but then again, it had been years.

the right turn that went wrong

of misunderstandings and miscommunications,
of labeling and judging,
of having an opinion and comment bout things,
and perhaps being blame for something lame

when people think you don't care at all, do you try to prove yourself?
when people blame you for something you did not do, do you correct their thoughts?
when they have an opinion in the things you did, perhaps underestimating your work with an insult or two....

i used to fight back and get all upset,
but don't know since when on certain subjects, i no longer react.

lips are shut and no sound i make,
swallow deep down and nothing i say.
perhaps they will never ever know,
but God knows from above and that matters most.

give her a break would ya?

i wish there is a magic wand, so i can go bibbidi bobbidi boo.
and if there is a wishing star, it will be like another dream come true.

i know that bubbles can hear me whisper, but if they can whisper along,
they would be able to fly to where i desire, and whisper to you my song.

all these magic magical things can't really be true,
but sometimes i rather forget and just be a fool.

if that can help make things a little better
why not remain a dreamer....

tic tac toe,3 in a row, i win

wat do u do when u have more than 6 hours in an airport?

mom, i think she's a princess

so yay! finally accomplished 30 hours of hunger. i think not eating has the effect of detoxifying ur body.
i didn't really feel much throughout tat 30 hours. not as in i don't feel hungry, i mean, i don't feel excited or sad or touched or satisfied or anything. i actually felt nothing. zilch. nada.

hmm.

u noe how one of the host actually joked bout being hungry actually makes you listen better? though i noe she didn't really meant what she said, but, i sort of, think its somehow not far from being right.

everything become so silent and far away throughout the entire event. its sort of like i wasn't there, and i was just watching it all happening through a tv screen. even when people screamed around me, i was spaced out. i screamed along too, and joined in the mexican wave, still, something doesn't link.
but then, being in this state makes me observe more and speak less. i see many things.

oh well, i'm too tired to try figure it out now. my limps are actually numb and really heavy.
just a day rest and off to my final trip before the sem starts again. God bless tis trip with my oma.
zoning out...

10 million things that glow

ah~~~ life is crunchylicious...
after months and months of sleepless nights, finally, this sem is over!
shoving everything into a box and seal it up, pack our bags and off we go.

it was my first time seeing so many fireflies. it wasn't really how i expected it to be, i thought they would be flying around me, like those in the movies, but then, they were just blinking at the trees, like christmas trees...
camera wasn't allowed but tis resemblance will do.
when there were many, they seem kinda insignificant, in fact, you can't be sure if they were really fireflies or artificial lightings hung behind the trees. but one made it all special.
when the boat trip was about to end, one little firefly, lost perhaps, flew to our boat and landed on my arm. at that moment, it got me. firefly IS special and magical. with it being so near, so little and blinking, i just stare at it, as if trying harder would allow me to understand what it's trying to say.

ili was sitting next to me when all the fireflies blink below the starry sky, and we were both saying how nice it would be if we were here with our special someone. i guess its during moment like this that you wish you have that special someone to share this moment with. hmm..

as for the adventure part, surprisingly, there isn't much adventure in this trip. however, there were 3 monkeys, who silly-ly ran down to a "not-meant-to-be" beach and headed towards d sea.

perhaps a thousand metres away, they just walk with their bare foot that kept sinking into the muddy surface, getting cuts and wounds from the broken pieces of glass bottles and shells. slippers were already buried deep into the mud. silly enough they were, yet it was one great experience of screaming, sinking, dragging, and laughing altogether :D
two weeks of holiday, one trip done. one more to go ~:) life is definitely worth living.
