it'll take more than 3 mins.

ya da ya da ya da da

suddenly caught in a cooking spreeeeee.. weeee. finally get to bake cookies last month. :)
hehe. actually. this heat came from the oven that my mum juz bought a few days back. it can't wait to start working :D
but somehow, the things that i feel like making need not use the oven at all. >.<

made a "heart" burger for dad and an omelette roll for sis for breakfast today.

then just now, attempted to make okonomiyaki with whatever available in the kitchen and it actually didn't turn out as bad as i think it would be. honestly, for an okonomiyaki that wasn't even made of plain flour, i think i did pretty well. tho the pic didn't look tat good. :P still..  *satisfied*

so in this  "3 minutes heat"

i went for groceries shopping and voila. menu for the heat.
gonna try these soon.

1. a proper okonomiyaki.
still needa get the okonomiyaki sauce n fish flakes.

2. tomatoes bruschetta for mum
- always wanted to try making these since i saw it in the new york new york deli menu

3.  beef tortilla for dad

4. banana pancakes for oma chan!

5. lotsa onigiri. in case of darurat.
teehee. actually. its because i found a big pack of seaweed in the cupboard.

tho they looked quite simple to prepare,
but considering my limited skills,
lets hope they'll turn out better than whats shown in the photo. :P

a word.

today i went for a walkathon with my friends. it felt nice to hang out with friends that you don't really have to talk to feel comfortable. friends you no longer give presents to on birthdays because you spent too many birthdays together like more than a hundred   erm.. seventy-three times hence ran out of things to give, and those who always steal your food when you say grace. oh wait. scrap that part. that's another group of friends whom i shall start a post soon. when we go waterfall or something.
actually, the best part is they got use to ur height that they actually forgot how short you really are thus thinks that heels would be the last thing that you ever need.

annie waist, i found a word to describe them (the ones whom i walked with) : spectacles.

sometimes i became so comfortable with them that i don't even remember bout the weight and the annoying thing that sits between my ears. so i just kept wearing them even when i don't need them. them as in the spectacles. not friend. not that anyone carries their friend on their nose and walk around looking at things like spectacles do.

and you don't have to try to come up with things to do and places to go because its fun even to wander around and do nothing.

they also help you see things clearer. just like what spectacles do. and they don't need any power to do that. how cool is that!

it may seem that i dun have them with me everyday but i need them. honestly, i can't even read the toilet sign from afar without them. and u know how important toilet signs are, u can't get to one without it.

so u see, i like my spectacles very much.

erm. as for posts with matching titles and girls with matching hats. it never happen in this part of the world. i guess you should have known by now.

# write to remember, jot down your favourite things :)

there's this little girl, very small and weak,
she look so fragile, with little crooked teeth.
she talks really softly and has a pale looking skin.
she jots down what she wants to remember,
its all her favourite things.

put toads in your bed and pepper in your tea

i can't imagine and dare not.

when i'm stress.... i create stories.

i got to know sally right before chinese new year and i find that she's really friendly and nice.  even aunties in church fell in love with her on the first sight. It was kinda weird how we met actually, and i was in a hurry too. its weird how God made us met and clicked at once.

i didn't had the chance to snap a photo of her yet. will do so when i have the chance. i'll be meeting her tonight too. see if i have the chance to do so. heh. till then.

i'll miss you lots

be nice and accompany the egg will ya. i heard they say malacca camp is pretty.

n i was tempted to push the sculpture off it's shelf o.O

went to watch this play on wed without expecting much. and out of the unexpected, it was surprisingly funny yet not light in its content. Kinda cool being able to sit in the first row. its like if i stretch my leg, i can actually trip the actor actresses. not that i did anything like tat though. heh. but i did spot a few wrinkles on one of the actor. Nevertheless, he is a really really good actor.

as for the play, in the beginning, it was really funny. Real humor kind and not the lame ones. I was really enjoying the play till they slowly reveal the true content of the play. it was not any light issue. As critical as it is, racism is no myth nor fiction. It is the reality of our society. and you can't say it has actually ended. but i think the play sort of made everyone think. and i guess that's kinda the point of it.

to be honest, i was kinda amazed by what local play can produce. it was a heavy yet enjoyable night. hmm :) i've always love KLpac. love the architecture. love the park.
i think the play will be showing  till 6th Feb. go grab ur tickets. it's definitely worth it's price.
check it out. PARAH
