its like getting free ice cream :)

i was watching the travel channel the other day and they were talking about Finland i think. i'm not too sure.....because it was in chinese and heh...my standard of chinese is quite limited... but it sounded like Finland though...

anyway, let's just assume it is Finland...many libraries were built everywhere... the ratio is like 1:250..... one library for every 250 people!! now that's like wow... so many.... but the thing that caught my attention was there's this "music-themed" library. Its a library but instead of having books in it, they provide cds....lots of lots of them... in all kinds of genre... they have books too, but their main things are music....you can sit there all day long listening to any cds in there. Not only that, you can find a white grand piano there and you're free to play it anytime. yes...as long as you have the courage to entertain others with your skills...you're free to do so! o.O nice~~~ there's more!! there's also a "mini' recording room.... provided for people who're interested to sing and record their own voice, all cool tools provided (those basics one i think) !! and perhaps, create their own record. heh.. yeap...all these all for free :) oooooo...and once in a while, they have mini concert in the library itself!!! how cool is that!! ooooo..i wish i'm in Finland now.... seeing that i have all the time in the world right now...i could use some library like that just perfectly .......then perhaps you'll find me there 24/7 .....gah....i wonder if there's anything like that here....hmm

tempted to try designing a library like tat...hmm...one of the reason i love architecture...you can always put what you desire on paper, with all the details assuming its gonna get built... and maybe, perhaps, who knows....one day, it might actually get built :) and even if it doesn't, you can already see the entire picture on paper...which already provides a sense of satisfaction :)
