A Trip To Penang

Thanks to a generous uncle who treated my sister and I to attend the seminar on Sunday.....We got ourselves a trip to Penang. The journey to Penang was comfortable. Due to last minute purchasing ticket, only the expensive bus tickets are not sold out. Ha...hence, we're fortunate that we get to ride on the comfortable bus to Penang. The journey was quite pleasant. My sister's friend, my sister and I sat at the last row of the bus. The journey was really bumpy but fun. HAha....Because whenever the bus passes through a bumpy road, our seats will bounce....It felt like we're sitting on a water-bed or throwing ourselves on the bouncy balloon...so fun...dooink doiink....

Compared to the last time I came, the view from the Penang bridge was still the same, . But Penang was no longer the same. It was even more urbanized now. More buildings, more kondominiums....there were also a number of penthouses around. The moment we arrived at the Penang bus station, we were greeted and welcomed by the friendly and warm-hearted family.. Aunty and Uncle even brought us all the way up the hill at Balik Pulau for lunch. The food was really great. Not to forget the scenery on top of the hill. I wonder what will it be like to watch the sunrise or sunset from there. The entire family were really nice to us. I really felt pampered... hah....Especially aunty, she fetched us around for sightseeing and treated us with good food; taught us lotsa hokkien and not to forget to mention that she's a really great tour guide. She's so cute and fun to hang around with.
Uncle was also really kind. He humored us with his jokes and also introduced us to famous textbook writers and experienced teachers. He also treated us like VIP in the seminar. Although it was kinda terrifying having his special attention during the seminar. Anyway, the seminar was great and informative. The seminar was held in the Cititel hotel and about 300 students attended the seminar. It was really a fruitful trip.

Oh right, on our way back to KL, we saw an accident at the opposite lane. A car was burning vigorously at the middle of the highway while 2 other cars were crashed badly. Behind those cars were a really long jam where along it there were ambulances and firetrucks squeezing their way through the jam. I've never seen this kind of scene in real life..I've only seen it on tv...I wonder if the victims are alright. Pray that no one is badly hurt, festive seasons should be a happy moment for family reunions and gatherings....

Anyway, thanks to the Ng family for the wonderful hospitality in Penang. I'll surely miss them. And also not to forget to thank God for my safety journey home and for this wonderful trip

My father never allow us to visit the karaoke centre........thanks to the bad image of those karaoke centre from the tvb dramas..in his point of view...it is not a good place to go....
But after a few years...my brother went...so I was thinking....... maybe I am allow to go.....
Surprisingly..mum said yes.....yay...so...
Today...Finally.....for the first time, I went for karaoke.......

hehe...it was really fun... only Reinette and I.....the two of us..went to Redbox in The Curve...
Sang for 3 hours from 3.30pm.....
hehe......so shuang....although there were only the two of us...sometimes wan yoon who were with her friends in the other room will come over to kacau....we sang and dance like sa po...haha....not embarass at all...haha....

After singing for 3 hours...since it was just the two of us......I thought we'll be all tired and voiceless.....but instead....I still felt as energetic as before....If it wasn't for the meeting Reinette had to attend at 8pm..we'll sing and sing till the next morning..lol......Din know that Reinette sings this well....claps claps claps.....as for me.....eeeeehhehee....terrible....dun bother.....

Why suddenly go karaoke??

Because....half of my classmates going to Neway in Puchong this afternoon....
Surprisingly......20 over teachers from my school are going to the exactly same place at night.....

Well.....I......was just inspired by them.........hehe

yay...now that mum finally allow us to go....
I wanna bring Sheryl jie....
I wanna go with Mei Xian.....
and I'm going again with my classmates next Friday..just the four of us....but in Pyramid I think...
I guess..this will really be the last outing till stpm.....
but still......yay....
hehe...so happy......

Now have to go pack for tmr's 2 day one night trip to Penang.....then study and study and study for one week....

let me see, next Tuesday shall be the 3rd and last farewell gathering for you...haiz....so fast....You just came back from NS last month...

We've known each other for 10 years, remembering the 'bruises" incident is not a totally bad thing to do, because at least it'll remind me of you. hehe
Let's keep these memorable memories for another hundred thousand million billion and still counting years....

Her prizes are more than a normal shelf can hold.


She used to be shorter than me,
with her "ah po" hairstyle in standard three,
but never underestimate what this ah po will turn out to be.

What's The Song Now?

A short break from studies again....here's a question......

Did it ever occur to you that a certain song resembles a certain moment; a certain thing; or maybe a certain person?
Well, I just can't deny that when I hear a certain song, that song will remind me of a certain moment. There's no option given actually, the songs just simply match with those moments. I wonder how it works.
For- instance, the Que Sera song, it still reminds me of the times when I was in nursery school. The school had just played it during sports day. I mean how old can I be at that moment? Five maybe? And it simply just stuck with it. Is it the lyrics or the melody?

I wonder how many songs have found their match, for me I meant. Let's see...there's one in form 3, no, make it 3 songs. Then, emm...I don't know...too many, I guess. I just have to listen to it to know.
And recently, more songs came along, all resembling a certain moment and person..There are so many important songs in my life, and it just kept coming. Can't stop it from matching it's own moment. Maybe that's what that made me love music. Every song signifies something. Hmm...I probably sound like an 80 years old lady now. At least I know which songs to keep and which to stay away from... I just hope I'm right.
